Teagle are known for manufacturing their market leading 'Tomahawk' range of livestock Feeder Bedders - the most complete line-up available from any manufacturer in the world. The Tomahawk range forms the cornerstone of a comprehensive range of machinery that they offer to Livestock and Arable farmers and Horticultural growers worldwide.
Teagle Machinery was established in 1943 by William Thomas (Tom) Teagle on the family farm close to Truro, in Cornwall. Some years earlier, with creative flair and a passion for engineering, Tom began manufacturing horse drawn tip carts for local farmers.
As Teagle celebrated their 70th anniversary in 2013, Tom would have been proud of a reputation that has been fostered by the company over many years for producing no-nonsense equipment with outstanding service backup.
As other manufacturers have come and gone, Teagle Machinery remains a family business focussed on delivering the benefits that are required by modern farming techniques - whether this is just around the corner, or in one of the 35 countries worldwide to which they regularly ship machinery.
From innovative design to a manufacturing facility that features cutting edge CNC equipment, Teagle ensures consistent quality and production control, with almost all components for their machinery manufactured at their 15,250m2 production facility in Cornwall. The company now employs around 150 people, most of whom are based at their plant near Truro, Cornwall.
