William Hackett - Mounted Harrows

All frame wings have gusset plates welded to the corners to add strength and rigidity to the frame. To make the frames universal, chains are welded along the front and rear bars so any type of harrow selection can be accommodated. Mounted harrows are available in widths of 4’-0” through to 20’-0” wide with a depth of 7’-6”, frames of 10’-0” and over have folding wings for ease of transportation.

The smaller frames are rigid and delivered flat packed on pallets. All frames are supplied for self assembly. Mounting brackets are fitted to frames from 14’-0” and over to make retro fitting of the hydraulic folding kit easier.

Folding is a simple one man operation taking only seconds. Hydraulic folding is an optional extra on all folding frames.

Our mounted harrows are designed to pull the harrows at the correct angle so that the ground is completely covered.

Mounted Frame Attachment
All Mounted Frames are supplied in flatpack form for self assembly and ease of transportation. Frames 4'-0" to 8'-0" wide are of bolt together construction and those 10'0" wide and over consist of a fabricated and welded centre frame and folding wing sections. Comprehensive assembly instructions are supplied with all mounted harrows.

All Universal Frames are constructed from 60mm x 60mm R.H.S. for additional strength and rigidity.

Folding is a simple one person operation and a hydraulic folding kit (Pic. C) is available as an option on all frames. Mounting brackets are fitted, as standard, to frames from 16'-0" and over to make retro fitting of a folding kit easier.
